Ray Dennis Steckler
This morning's blast-email from Will the Thrill brought sad news of the passing of west coast horror host Bob Wilkins. That was bad enough. Wilkins was the host of the Sacramento area Creature Features and also a kid's show character, Captain Cosmic. His brittle-dry sense of humor and affable nature was enjoyed by many in the bay area.

But to just read on the Classic Horror Film Board about Ray Dennis Steckler dying is a heavy blow. Steckler's achievements and history is an interesting one and I'll have to write something proper to memorialize him. Too bad.

Holy fuck! I had no idea about that either. Jesus. I'm glad it came from you, I guess. I was just having a fun look at my Cindy Lou Sutters posters last week. Shit.
